Weekday Sewing for Homeschool Families

Our homeschool sewing classes give students a creative, hands-on subject that fits neatly into a weekday rhythm. Kids meet once a week during daytime hours, build skills progressively across the year, and finish real projects they are proud of.

Beginners start from the very first stitch, while intermediate students take on more advanced patterns and design work. Every class is small and supportive, so each child gets real guidance at their own pace.

Enrollment is annual and billed quarterly, so families can plan their year with no per-class tracking and no surprise supply fees.

Skills Kids Develop

Across the school year, homeschool students build:

  • Machine sewing and pattern reading
  • Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Creative problem-solving and planning
  • Patience, focus, and following steps
  • Fashion design fundamentals
  • Confidence through finished projects

These are practical, lasting skills that carry well beyond the studio.

How Enrollment and Billing Work

The homeschool program runs annually from August 31, 2026 through May 27, 2027 and is billed quarterly across three invoices per year. Everything your child needs is included:

  • All fabric, thread, patterns, and machines
  • One-time registration fee included with your first quarter
  • Level-appropriate projects for every student
  • Sibling discount of 10% off a second child

Makeups. Homeschool students may make up to four missed sessions per school year, in a parallel class at their level or in our Saturday session. Makeups are used within 30 days and have no cash value.

Withdrawing. We ask for 30 days written notice by email. You are only charged for sessions during that notice period, and the remaining balance is released.

Re-enrollment. A $50 fee applies if there is a gap of 2 or more months.

"Our daughter absolutely loves Anna and this class! They have made their own doll, clothes for the doll, and even a skirt for themselves, which my daughter wears around proudly. She has learned so much and has a lot of fun. Seeing how Anna gets the kids working independently at the sewing machines is impressive. Our daughter can't wait to learn more!"

Sewista, its staff and specially Mrs. Aimee made a difference in my daughter’s life. She made wonderful memories sewing 🧵 every week coming home with a new project: such as a pillow, bookmark 🔖, coaster, keychain and a tote etc. We’ll be back soon!"
